Based on a Blue Note jazz track from the 1950s, a soft, downbeat-heavy rhythm of electric piano and drums with flute embellishments.

In “The Great Shark Hunt,” Thompson tells the hilarious story of an ex-Hell’s Angel who leaves the calling to become a respectable car dealer in Los Angeles, but after a while can’t help himself lapsing into an on-the-road existence with disastrous consequences. “The publicity ruined him, but influential friends kept him out of jail by paying a psychiatrist to call him insane… People who know him now say he’s happy but his driver’s license has been revoked and his new wife, a jaded ex-beauty queen from Virginia, is a half-mad alcoholic.” This is her story. Instrumental track with lilting flute solo.
